Property maps of assessable vegetation (PMAVs)

PMAVs are property-scale maps certified by the Department of Natural Resources and Mines (NRM). They show the boundaries of areas that can be cleared without approval, and areas for which approval may be required before clearing can be done.

When a PMAV is in effect for a property, it replaces the regional ecosystem and regrowth maps for determining the location of vegetation assessable under the vegetation management laws. Further information on PMAVs is available in the PMAVs fact sheet (PDF, 82K)*.
