Conservation Management Profiles
The Nature Refuges Branch is developing a range of Conservation Management Profiles for ecosystems, species (fauna and flora) and cultural heritage.
The profiles provide best-practice management guidance for land managers on all land tenures to achieve improved conservation outcomes. Profiles aim to:
- Assist in the identification of values in an area;
- Identify the threatening processes affecting those values as a result of a range of management activities and practices;
- Provide appropriate management guidance on how to minimise identified threats.
If you would like more information about the Conservation Management Profiles or would like to contribute to their development or review, please make contact via ecosystem.conservation@epa.qld.gov.au.
